acAssistance (English Version)


IT administrators are now full of RDP, SSH, TeamViewer and many more connections that it is often difficult to manage and have everything accessible from a single software.

Of course, in the network we are full of utilities that do more or less what we need but they are not always the way we want them or, simply, we have to download more than one to have a fairly complete management of our connections.

Born from my daily experience, today I want to offer you this application to facilitate all the various IT Managers in their management of remote connections.

What are the features of acAssistance?

Cost

acAssistance is free for both personal and business purposes.

Portability

acAssistance was designed to be a software to always have at hand and therefore you can safely copy it to a USB device and simply run it as needed without having to install it on different PCs every time.

Customer and relative contacts directory

acAssistance associates connections with customers entered in the program in order to have a practical vision linked to the company reality. In addition there is also a global address book in which to insert all the various technical references that can be associated with one or several managed companies (often you have to deal with resellers who offer services and therefore can be useful).

Connectivity based on known external tools

acAssistance does not implement connectivity internally (why reinvent the wheel?) but uses the tested and known applications that have been on the market for years such as putty, FileZilla, TeamViewer, supremo, etc .. Of course these external applications belong to their respective owners and are therefore to be downloaded from the related sites (an operation that is also facilitated within acAssistance and therefore made simple).

Storage of extended information for the connection

acAssistance allows you to store numerous additional information relating to the single machine such as antivirus, backup, CRM, database, operating system and many others.

Finally

acAssistance does not presume to be a finished software or comparable to many other paid commercial software and therefore the software must be used “AS IS” without high demands (maybe with your suggestions it will become better in the future).
Below you will find the link for the download of acAssistance which, once downloaded, all you have to do is unzip it in a folder of your choice and start using it.
